Shoppers have been left seriously bamboozled today, after an image of what seems to be a very unusual Aldi Special Buy was shared online.

We all know the supermarket is prone to selling a weird and wonderful range of eclectic items in their weekly Special Buy sales, but the latest item spotted in the middle aisle has well and truly taken the cake.

The photo is said to have been taken by a fan in Spain, and shows a funky fluffy short stool, that you might assume is a footstool or a simple ottoman.

According to the name across said stool, you would be incorrect.

“Blow job stool,” the item’s label reads.

The photo was reportedly sent to an Aussie Aldi fan by a family member living abroad, and was simply too funny not to share online.

Aldi has since slammed the photo as a fake, confirming they do not, in fact, stock blow job stools in any of their international stores.

Shared to an Aldi fan page on Facebook, the photo sparked an instant flurry of hilarity, with hundreds liking the photo, and dozens commenting within just an hour.

The hysterical name sparked a very naughty joke or two in the comments.

“ALDI - Good, different,” one funny onlooker quoted the supermarket’s tag line.

“And cases of arthritis in the knees has dramatically dropped since Aldi brought out their blowjob stool,” one woman cheekily claimed.

“Bet there was a line up for that,” said one envious customer.

“I’m sure these will sell out in Oz!” another hinted.

“What the hell?” was all one baffled fan could manage.

Some argued the photo was clearly photoshop, though the original poster told Yahoo it is a real photo.

“Is it really what it says it is?” one wondered. “Because that's hilarious!”

Aldi has been contacted for comment.

It’s not the first time a major retailer has come under fire for dipping their toes into slightly raunchy waters.

Earlier this year Target became the target, when an irate mother took to social media to decry the sale of adult toys.

“Target sinks to a new low in its hatred of parents, children, families and anything appropriate,” the woman ranted, alongside an image of two vibrators for sale in what appears to be a US chain of the store.

“Front and centre for little eyes to see. A vibrator that you can stick in BOTH holes. Because that is appropriate for little ones to see while shopping for vitamins.

“Shame on you. Again.”

The photo divided shoppers with some agreeing it was inappropriate, others arguing the $30 vibrator was nothing more than an absolute steal.
