Aldi set to sell bargain version of popular beauty product

Aldi could be set to take over the beauty market as they prepare to sell a bargain version of a popular beauty product – the Foreo Luna facial cleansing massager.

A Facebook user shared a photo in the Aldi Mums group of the Aldi catalogue which featured a "silicone cleansing device" for just $9.99 – quite the bargain considering the Foreo massagers start at $75 with different varieties selling for up to $329.

The Aldi catalogue revealed that their cleanser is battery operated and comes in turquoise or pink. It also "includes a replacement cover for extra exfoliation" and is waterproof like the Foreo version.

Foreo has a number of different versions of their facial cleansing massagers, but describes their Luna mini 3 (which retails at $219) as "the skincare innovation that broke the Internet", saying it's the "latest beauty-tech you can't live without".

You can even use the app to find the cleanser if you lose it!

Someone else wrote, "I have a Foreo and I love it, I bought it when it was still a Kickstarter and I can't remember how much I paid for it but I'm pretty sure it was a lot more than $10! For $10 I say go for it!"

However, some users thought the product was something else entirely.

One user asked, "Is that like a vibrator?" Another said, "Oh god I thought it was a silicone scrubbing brush for the dishes lol."
