Aldi fans call $10 item the 'best purchase ever' after amazing before and after results
Anyone with pets (or wooly winter jumpers) will know all too well the struggle of trying to keep stray hairs or material from attaching themselves to every surface possible.
But Aldi fans have claimed to have found a simple and budget solution, in the form of a $9.95 rechargeable lint remover.
Influencers have taken to Instagram to rave about the product, with one person calling it the ‘best purchase ever’.
The pink lint remover comes with a lint brush and three attachments for cleaning different items.
But best of all, it requires no batteries because it’s rechargeable.
Influencer Genevieve, who runs the page thisthisisgenevieve_, uploaded a stream of snaps and videos to her Instagram Stories, showing her using the device, calling it ‘extremely satisfying’.
She used it on a cushion, which was covered in lint and needed some sprucing up. The results speak for themselves, with Genevieve showing exactly how much lint came off it after she was finished using the device.
Meanwhile, Aussie influencer Sam, who runs the Addicted to Bargains account, said she’s used her lint remover on cushions, throws and hoodies.
After uploading a video of the remover in action to her Facebook account, it received over 300 comments from people desperate to get their hands on it.
“Omg! I need this,” one person said, with another commenting saying they need it ASAP.
Others commented saying Kmart and Big W also sell them and called them ‘great’.
It’s not the only item Aldi lovers are going wild for, as on Friday, the retailer announced the return of the electric salt and pepper mills, which were so popular the last time they were introduced to stores that they sold out almost instantly.
The announcement didn’t go unnoticed on Aldi Facebook groups, with people posting pictures of the catalogue online, which states the dining table favourites will be on sale on the 8th of July.
“We have a set. And they are my fav thing in the kitchen next to my wine glasses,” one person wrote.
“Love love love you can do it with one hand,” another person said.
The salt and pepper mills spring into action as soon as you turn them upside down but many have pointed out that they require six batteries, which actually comes in the box with them.
