'Abbott Elementary's Quinta Brunson Makes Major Life Change
Quinta Brunson has filed for divorce, new reports reveal.
The Abbott Elementary star filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, March 19 to request the dissolution of her marriage to husband Kevin Jay Anik, according PEOPLE.
Brunson, who married Anik in October 2021, reportedly cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, while the date of separation was listed as "TBD."
The Emmy-winning actress and comedian, who has been notably private with her relationship to Anik, also indicated in her filing that she and her husband "entered into a postnuptial agreement which governs the disposition of their property."
She also requested that each party be responsible for their own attorney's fees.
Brunson, 35, has not yet publicly addressed the news of her split.
However, just hours before news broke about her divorce filing, Brunson made a public appearance as a guest on John Mulaney's new Netflix series, Everybody's Live With John Mulaney.
Appearing on episode 2 alongside fellow celebrity guests Ben Stiller, Nick Kroll and Richard Kind, Brunson and the group of stars were joined by cruise industry expert Anne Kalosh as they chatted together, took live calls and discussed this week's theme: cruise ships.
Brunson even took to Instagram on Thursday to share photos from her time on the Everybody's Live set at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, where she was accompanied by fellow celebrity guests, including a sweet selfie with Kind, 68.
