Royal fans slam Prince Harry over latest move set to 'infuriate' Prince William
Prince Harry is rumoured to be working on a Netflix docuseries about his mother Princess Diana.
Prince Harry and Prince William have endured an incredibly rocky relationship since around the time the Duke of Sussex began dating his now-wife, Meghan Markle. The pair's relationship only worsened when Harry and Meghan decided to step down as senior members of the royal family in 2020, and then again when they took part in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The release of Harry's memoir, Spare, and his and his wife' Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, also didn't help.
Now, royal fans believe Harry may be set to 'infuriate' his brother even more after reports that Harry may be working on a new Netflix project about their mother Princess Diana. The project would likely be a two or three-part series and would be released in 2027, to coincide with the 30th anniversary of her death in August 1997.
The Netflix docuseries would form part of a new long-term Netflix deal, as Harry and Meghan's five-year contract with the streaming giant is set to expire this year, The Express reports. The deal is worth an estimated A$164 million.
A source tells the publication, "The idea is that it would be a solo project for Harry, who would be a co-executive producer as well as hosting and narrating the series."

Harry would bring a unique perspective to the project as Diana's son, and the Netflix executives apparently see this as very valuable.
Another insider says, "Harry might even see it as a stepping stone to building bridges with William and the rest of his family."
Production executives say Harry would handle the project "with passion and sensitivity, offering fresh insights into not only her life, but also her lasting legacy."
Royal fans claim Harry is set to 'infuriate' William with Diana docuseries
Royal fans have slammed Harry's decision to create the docuseries, with some going as far as to call it "utterly despicable", and many saying "William will be angry and disgusted" by the idea.
In a Reddit thread, one user wrote, "In the end, Harry merches off his dead mother for dollars. If this is true, it's utterly despicable."
"Selling out the Royal Family is all they have ever had to offer. These two should be shunned," another said, referencing Meghan as well.
"His memory is less vivid than William’s as William being 2 yrs older would have much better recollection of his mother than Harry," a third claimed. "I really hope William steps in to stop this s**tshow, maybe he can sue his brother or something."
"William is a future King, he has more important business to deal with, just 2 days ago, William was in a tank in a war zone in [Estonia]," someone else wrote.

"It’s shocking on the one hand. On the other, though, why are we even surprised?" another said. "Harry would also do this only to infuriate William."
"What more is there to say about it? Diana's life has been picked over from every angle," another questioned.
"Oh, Harry will no doubt have some *memories* of her that he now remembers," one user responded. "Plus, what she would have thought about Meghan and how the kids look and act like her."
