Not all of them. Awards shows like the VMAs and and the Kids’ Choice Awards are currently unaffected by the merger. However, that could be subject to change, as Paramount has gone through major changes since 2024 with the goal of reducing 15% of the company’s workforce. Layoffs occurred throughout the company, including at Paramount TV Studios and CBS News.
