Now that Yellowstone season 5 has come to an end, fans everywhere are itching for a Dutton fix. Thankfully, the second season of 1923 is on the way—and loyal viewers couldn’t be more excited.
Season 2 of 1923 is set to premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, February 23, 2025. As fans eagerly await its arrival, they’re rewatching season 1 and flocking to the show’s official Instagram page for snippets of what’s to come. And they’re not alone! Recently, Brandon Sklenar (Spencer Dutton) and Julia Schlaepfer (Alexandra) took to Instagram with a clip of them rewatching and reacting to one of their most dramatic scenes together: the fight on the ship deck where Spencer ends up throwing Arthur (Alexandra's ex-fiancé) overboard when he pulls a pistol on him.
“Fancy little man… did a fancy flight,” Brandon recalls during their back-and-forth. “What a scene that was.”
As much as fans enjoyed revisiting the heart-pumping action-packed into that scene, above all, they’re thrilled to know Spencer and Alexandra will be back on screen once more.
“My faves!!!! Love this spinoff better than Yellowstone itself!! So excited it’s coming back,” one fan commented. “Let Julia and Brandon do all the commentaries! My heart!! I am still giddy!!! Please give me all the Alex and Spencer scenes!! Together, not separate please,” someone else chimed in. “You two are the best part of that show!!
