YouTube Star David Dobrik Is Nearly Unrecognizable After Shocking Fitness Transformation

David Dobrik’s fans couldn’t believe their eyes when the YouTube star shared the results of his efforts to get fit over the last year.

The internet personality said he doesn’t “feel like pudding anymore” as he shared before and after photos on Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The side-by-side photos showed the 28-year-old before he started his fitness challenge and after he’d worked hard to build muscles and transform his body.

The internet personality shed his shirt for both photos so that his fans could see the full impact of his workout routine. He included in his three-part Instagram carousel the full photos taken before and after for those who wanted a closer look.

Dobrik captioned the photos by writing, “new year, new me, new vlog.” He also thanked those who helped encourage him on his fitness journey. “I couldn’t be more grateful for the people around me that pushed me this year to be a better version of myself,” he wrote. “I owe everything to all my friends and especially Ilya who has literally changed my life.”

Several fans wrote in to praise Dobrik on his hard work, with one describing his new physique as “Shredededd 🔥🔥” while another dubbed him "Mr supermodel.”

Though Dobrik later shared a video of himself taking his shirt off to display his new muscles, many fans were still left shocked by the extent of his transformation and found themselves questioning whether it was real.
