Woolworths launch new Wiggles collector coins with new 'Green Wiggle' in hilarious TikTok

To celebrate the launch of the new commemorative coins available Woolworths' stores across Australia for The Wiggles' 30th anniversary, the supermarket chain sent their TikTok guy Liam to Wiggles HQ for some 'work experience'.

"So to celebrate 30 years of the Wiggles and the commemorative coin collection at Woolworths, I've came to Wiggle Town for work experience," Liam tells the camera as Red Wiggle, Simon Pryce, and Blue Wiggle, Anthony Field, jammed behind him.

Liam even started sharing some of his ideas with the group, suggesting instead of 'Hot Potato' they could try 'Mashed Potato'.

"We can change," a surprised Simon told him, with Anthony agreeing, though clearly not sure it's the right move, "We can always change it."

Liam then joked that he "had a little incident with Wags the Dog" because Wags wouldn't clean up his fruit salad, so they decided to flip a coin to see who would have to clean it up.

"Oh yeah, we're really excited to have Liam to celebrate our collectors' coins at Woolworths," Anthony told the camera. "We don't often take on work experience recruits, but Liam said he'd give us a year's supply of fruit salad, yummy yummy! And as a Wiggle, that's an opportunity we can't turn down."

But Liam did have a bit of a slip up during his work experience with Simon telling the camera, "We all know the Big Red Car runs on music, but Liam put diesel in it..."

"Yeah, I'm still learning all the songs and stuff, but I think I might be a permanent addition!" Liam said while wearing his Green Wiggle outfit, that matched his Woolies uniform perfectly.

"I will watch the Wiggles if Liam gets added to the Wiggles," one TikTok user commented.

"This is my favourite TikTok ever," another added.

"The Fresh Food Wiggle," someone else joked.

"How does it feel to be a Green Wiggle?" a fourth questioned.

"I laughed too hard," another said.

The coins are available from 6 October with Woolworths chief marketing officer Andrew Hicks saying, "The Wiggles are a much loved Aussie icon not only for kids, but a whole generation of parents who grew up singing and dancing along to their songs."

"We’re excited to be part of their 30-year anniversary celebration with these limited edition coins, which will allow our customers to own a piece of Wiggly history and share it with their family."

The Mint will also release $1 coins featuring current and former Wiggles members.
