Aussies love a reason to celebrate, and in true Aussie style, that usually involves a classic Woolies mud cake. But now thanks to TikTok, one user has shared a new cake find for only $30, that will have you running to the nearest shop in no time at all.
Woolworths' assorted celebration cake has a whopping 10 flavours all in one delicious cake. Each morsel offers a different flavour suitable for everyone at your next birthday picnic! From a caramel and hazelnut blend to mango passion fruit, chocolate raspberry, and even banana caramel, our mouths are watering just thinking about each flavour to try.
"I had this for my birthday this month and it was awesome!” said one TikTok user, who also noted, “There was something for everyone and the passionfruit one was so delicious."
Another user commented, "I love the carrot cake, it’s so good."
"It's so perfect if you don’t know what the birthday person wants!" one person wrote. “The best slice is the matcha one!!!" said another.
Another TikTok commenter, however, wasn’t a big fan of the cake when compared to other users' comments. “I’ve tried this, some of the flavours are yum, some are meh! It’s kinda hard to distinguish them (the flavours) from each other," they wrote.
The assorted celebration cake from Woolies does remind us of Sydney’s Kerbside creamery who offer the “One of Everything” cheesecake, with mouthwatering flavours such as, Biscoff, Cookies ‘n’ Cream, Reeses Cheesecake and more. The famous “One of Everything” cheesecake has also had its stint on TikTok with users across the app posting their admiration for delicious treat.
Kerbside creamery delivers to Sydney metropolitan areas as well as selected surrounding suburbs, however, if you’re not a fan of cheesecake, or maybe just not located in Sydney, then Woolies assorted celebration cake is the perfect option for you readily (and hopefully) available at your local store.
Even if you don’t have a celebration coming and are just looking for a lockdown activity, one TikTok user commented, “I bought this and pretended to have a wedding cake tasting.” She went on to say, “I’ve been married 15 years, (it’s been a long lockdown)”. Proving you don’t need an excuse to indulge in a little lockdown cake and have an at-home tasting with your significant other anytime.
Now we’re off to the Woolies to grab a cake before everyone gets their hands on them!
