So, why did Ross miss the Married at First Sight UK reunion?
Last night (24th February) E4 finally dropped the much anticipated Married at First Sight UK reunion, bringing together the casts from seasons eight and nine for an explosive dinner party. From Nathan and Lacey deep diving into their breakup, to Kieran's shock revelation, and Amy and Adam addressing their relationship status, a LOT went down in the episode.
However, one reunion moment we didn't get to witness was ex-partners Ross and Sacha seeing each other after their split, as Ross did not attend the reunion. So where was he?
Well, apparently he skipped the reunion as he had another event to attend. A spokesperson for Ross told Yahoo UK ahead of the reunion airing Ross was unable to go as "he had a prior commitment at another charity event." And given how the couple ended it may not have been the worst thing for Ross to have missed the dinner party.
Ross and Sacha were one of the first couples to get married during last year's series. They initially got off to a great start, and built a strong bond during their honeymoon. However, when they returned to the UK they struggled more and were often seen having fiery arguments. They also couldn't agree where to live, with Sacha wanting Ross to move and live near her family in Walsall, while Ross was hesitant about leaving his daughter in Manchester.
They did however, make it all the way to the final vows where they agreed to carry on their relationship outside the experiment. And during the first reunion episode Sacha confirmed the couple were still together and Ross had moved in with her.
But this didn't last long as it turned out after filming had ended the couple had broken up and Ross was in a relationship by the time the show aired. It's unclear now if Ross is still in that relationship.
The Married at First Sight UK reunion is available to watch on Channel 4
