Wendy's Brings Back Fan-Favorite Frosty Flavor That Customers Say 'Should Have Never Left'
Get ready, Wendy's customers, because a fan-favorite Frosty flavor will soon return to restaurants near you. And many folks have declared it "should have never left" in the first place.
On Saturday, Aug. 31, food blogger Markie Devo took to Instagram with the exciting announcement.
"Sound the forking alarms🚨Wendy’s is phasing out the Triple Berry Frosty right now to replace it with the awesome OG Vanilla," they wrote. "Several locations are serving vanilla right now. It should go nationwide by this week.👀."
The news came on the heels of a Wendy's memo circulating online about a limited-time Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty for an upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants collab with Paramount.
In the comments, one Instagram user exclaimed, "FINALLY," while another declared, "This should have never left."
A third commented, "About f—king time."

Still, some Wendy's customers didn't realize it was pulled from menus in the first place, with one confessing, "am i the only one who didn’t know it left😂😂😂😂😂😂."
Someone else suggested, "They need to keep vanilla and then once pineapple frosty comes out they can offer pineapple and vanilla swirl."
Meanwhile, a different Instagram user lamented, "Guessing PS isn’t making a comeback this year 😢."
Although customers were expecting the return of the Pumpkin Spice Frosty, the fast food chain is evidently either skipping or delaying the fall flavor this year in favor of the Vanilla Frosty.
In June, Wendy's launched the Triple Berry Frosty after introducing the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty in March.
