Yahoo Lifestyle Amanda Bynes Is Nearly Unrecognizable After Bold Hair Transformation
Amanda Bynes looked nearly unrecognizable as she debuted a bold new hairstyle while out and about in Southern California this week.
The former child star is not new to undergoing style changes, with the natural brown hair color that fans came to know so well during her time starring on All That and The Amanda Show dyed blue, black, blond and other hues in the several years since 2010’s Easy A, Bynes’ last film appearance as an actress.

The What a Girl Wants star’s most recent look this week featured a combination of two main colors, with most of her long locks dyed black while the hair on the top and sides of her head was blond. Bynes, 38, was photographed embracing her latest hairstyle—which also reportedly included hints of blue—while retrieving coffee in Los Angeles, Calif., on Thursday, Oct. 31.
The new photos of the former Nickelodeon star were published by the Daily Mail on Friday, Nov. 1. The snapshots showed Bynes walking past a store while holding a frozen blended coffee beverage in one hand and a hot beverage in the other. She was dressed in all black and had a small black purse with a silver chain slung onto her arm as she made her way down the street.
Bynes’ latest blond addition marked a change from the all-black hairstyle she debuted in early August. She retained the look at least into mid-September, when she was photographed walking around Los Angeles. It was unclear when exactly she decided to add blond back into the mix for her new two-toned hair.
Prior to her all-black look, the What I Like About You actress dyed her long hair blond. She sported that earlier style during multiple outings in the first half of 2024.
