With heatwaves rampant from coast to coast, National Ice Cream Day couldn’t come at a better time.

On Sunday, July 21, restaurant chains around the country are treating customers to frozen desserts in honor of the cool holiday.

Wendy’s tops it off with a sweet deal on Frostys. To celebrate National Ice Cream Day, fans can snag a free small Frosty with a purchase of at least $5 when ordering in the Wendy’s app. It's the perfect opportunity to try the fast food chain’s new triple berry Frosty.

Dairy Queen is also getting in on the fun. On July 21, ice cream fans can get a free Dilly Bar at any participating Dairy Queen where Dilly Bars are available for purchase. The pops are made with DQ vanilla soft serve and covered in chocolate coating.

To scoop a free Dilly Bar, customers can redeem the deal in the chain’s app with any DQ Rewards order of $1 or more.

Insomnia Cookies also has a free, frozen treat for customers. All weekend from July 19 through July 21, dessert lovers can get a free cup of two scoops of ice cream. The best part? There’s no purchase necessary.

On July 21, Dippin’ Dots is dishing out free mini cups of at 120 participating locations across the country.

Rounding out the list is Carvel. The long-standing ice cream chain is handing out a delivery deal. For any purchase of $35 or more, Uber Eats users and Dash Pass holders can get $6 off their orders from July 18 to July 21.
