Jennifer Garner’s Fans ‘Laughed So Hard’ Watching Her Farm Animal Video Go Off the Rails

Jennifer Garner’s fans couldn’t stop laughing at a new video the actress shared from her family farm, which documented an unexpected encounter with a curious chicken.

The video, which the actress posted on Instagram in recognition of National Farmer’s Day on Saturday, Oct. 12, showed Garner, 52, peacefully riding along on a stretch of grass inside a children’s toy tractor set. A chicken was perched on the small trailer behind her—at least, it was at first. After a few seconds, the chicken suddenly began flapping its wings and landed briefly on the 13 Going on 30 star’s head.

The chicken’s claws seemed to get tangled in Garner’s hair for a moment before she bent over, trying to encourage it to hop off of her head.

“I don’t like this,” the Deadpool & Wolverine actress could be heard saying as she struggled to get the creature to move. Once it was gone, she appeared unnerved by the incident, explaining, “I don’t have that much love for chickens.”

The video was included in a 10-part Instagram carousel that featured other videos and snapshots showing Garner working on her family’s farm in Locust Grove, Okla. In some of the videos, Garner rode in a real tractor as she surveyed the land, while others showed her working the soil with her hands as she put new plants into the ground, giving each a kiss for encouragement.

“Farmers are the heart of our country, Happy #NationalFarmersDay! Love from your biggest fan, Farmer Jen 👩🏻‍🌾🚜🌱,” the mother of three wrote to caption her post.

But it was the chicken video on which fans focused their commentary.

“The chicken on your head video you posted is hilarious,” one fan wrote as another admitted they “laughed so hard” watching the footage.

“This is too funny! 🙌❤️,” one Instagram user wrote.

One fan said they “almost choked” on a snack while watching the video, while another said they “full on panicked when the chicken hopped on your head 😂.”

The chicken had clearly “decided” that it would have “a better view on top of your head,” one person teasingly suggested.

"Was that fowl behaviour?” another fan joked.
