Yahoo Lifestyle Christina Hall Responds After Ex Josh Hall Calls Her "Delusional"
There's bad blood between Christina and Josh Hall. After months of throwing shade at each other via social media, it looks like the couple is at it once again. The HGTV star's estranged husband posted an Instagram story that read, "Cutting people off and letting them live with whatever delusional story suits them best, is top tier." While there's no way of knowing the full context behind the post—that is, unless Josh wants to clue us in—the previous back and forth makes us believe he's targeting that "delusional" dig at Christina. We know, ouch.
Don't worry, Christina wasted no time on clapping back. The Christina on the Coast star quickly posted her retort via Instagram stories: "Remember when you said you never steal from me or my kids and you would just be happy in a van with your dog," she wrote. "I guess plans changed." Christina also allegedly accused Josh of "taking everything [he can]." "With your mind on my money and my money on your mind," she added.
These posts are only the most recent of the virtual blows the former has exchanged since their shocking (to some) split back in July. Josh filed for divorce from the HGTV star on July 15 and cited their date of separation as July 8, which is a day after Christina's birthday.
As their conscious uncoupling proves, all is fair in love and war—yes, even those salty Instagram posts. Christina called her former flame an "insecure man with a large ego" and even subtly dissed him while talking about her own financial independence. Meanwhile, Josh once quipped, "Those who know each of us, know who we are." We know, it's a lot.
We'll likely see the drama continue to play out on social media, but it seems that it'll never reach our small screen. Though the former couple were set to star in The Flip Off with Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa, rumor has it that Josh's appearances will be edited out. Of course, that doesn't mean Josh's television ties are done for good. Upon filing for divorce, Josh requested the rights to all HGTV and Discovery Network shows and specials the twosome produced during their marriage. Truthfully, we wouldn't be surprised if that request is a major source for the on-feed drama. Regardless, we hope that Christina and Josh will be able to find a cordial conclusion to their newfound feud—but will be sure to serve the tea in the meantime.
