How to Watch the 2025 Golden Globes Online
The 2025 awards season is in full swing, and the Golden Globes will soon be here. The 2025 Golden Globes, hosted by Nikki Glaser, will air live on CBS on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. The ceremony will also stream live on Paramount+.
Hosted at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, the 2025 Golden Globes will honor film and television nominees across 27 categories, with titles divided into either drama or musical/comedy for voting consideration. This year, “Emilia Pérez” led the pack with 10 Golden Globe nominations, earning nods for best motion picture – musical or comedy, director for Audiard, supporting actress for Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez, actress for Karla Sofia Gascón, screenplay, original score and more.

Brady Corbet’s A24 period drama “The Brutalist” came away with seven nominations including best motion picture – drama, best actor and actress for leads Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones, and supporting actor for Guy Pearce. Other high-scoring nominees include “Conclave” with six and “Anora,” “Challengers,” “A Real Pain” and “The Substance” tied with four.
On the television side, “The Bear” continued to dominate with five nominations (including best/musical comedy) while “Only Murders in the Building” and “Shogun” trail close behind with four nods a piece. Last year’s ceremony included two new categories: achievement in stand-up comedy specials (for which Glaser is nominated), and achievement at the global box office; they both return this year.
In addition to watching through traditional cable or Paramount+, you can also stream the 2025 Golden Globe Awards live, and for free through a live TV streamer such as DirecTV Stream, and Sling TV, which both offer free trials. CBS is also available on Hulu+ Live TV and Fubo TV.
Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment will return as executive producing showrunners while Dick Clark Productions will plan, host and produce the event.
