Vanna White Addresses Fan Comments Labeling Her Son a 'Thirst Trap'

Vanna White may love her son, Nikko Santo Pietro, but that doesn't mean she understands why fans have labeled him a "thirst trap."

The longtime Wheel of Fortune co-host, 67, addressed fans lusting over Nikko, 30, during the Thursday, Jan. 23, episode of the beloved game show.

"I recently posted a video of me and my son, Nikko, cooking and it got a lot of response,” White told host Ryan Seacrest, adding, "I don't get it."

In December, White shared a video of her and her real estate agent son whipping up a meal together in her kitchen; however, fans were more focused on Nikko's tight shirt—which showed off his toned physique—rather than the recipe for Uncle Roy's Chicken.

“The kids are calling Nikko a thirst trap,” Seacrest, 50, explained. “Apparently, that was a very tight [top]. He went to the Baby Gap to buy that shirt. It was very tight and they found him strikingly good-looking and no one knows what you cooked.”

As Seacrest said, followers did not hold back in the comment section of White's post, with one social media user quipping, "Is son on the menu too 👀 errr I mean great video!!"

Another wrote, "Oh so thatssssss who those white tees are made for," while a separate Instagram user added, "I’d like to solve the puzzle please…. HUBBA HUBBA."

In addition to Nikko, White shares daughter Gigi, 27, with ex-husband George Santo Pietro. The former spouses were married from 1990 to 2002.

Despite being co-host of Wheel of Fortune for more than 40 years, White told Family Circle in a previous interview that being a mom is her "favorite job" of all time.

“Your whole life changes after you have children,” she said. “You never sleep soundly. You always have one eye open. You’re constantly worrying about their safety. But I wouldn’t change a thing. Giovanna and Nicholas have brought so much love and joy into my life—more than I could have ever imagined.”
