Tyla's Sporty Nike Look Went Viral, And She Had The Best Response To People Editing The Photos
You know Tyla.
She's been making waves with her 2024 self-titled album, gaining popularity for the amapiano sound (a South African house-soul hybrid music genre).
Her 2023 hit "Water" earned her a Grammy for Best African Music Performance and set her up as an artist to watch.
So, it's no surprise that she went mega-viral once she arrived at Super Bowl LIX.
Tyla rolled up to New Orleans in a black and white Nike fit that had people calling her "iconic and extremely stylish."

But apparently, when the photos started going viral, Tyla quickly pointed out they were making a few unnecessary edits.
Posting to her X account, Tyla wrote, "Stop face tuning pls," possibly referring to the edited still photos circulating the internet. "I don't need that shit <3 thnx."
For context, she posted photos of herself on her Instagram stories, and you can spot the difference:

The fans were quick to run to Tyla's defense:
"Face tuning? Ain't your face what people tune theirs too?" one fan wrote.
Tyla had a hilarious response when a fan responded, "we been trying to tell them sista... i fear you just gon have to deal with it."
Tyla responded, "Like, At least gimmi some ass or smthn. Leave the face aloneee."
This makes me wonder how many "facetuned" photos that haven't been called out are circulating the interwebs.
