Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones, who played Jake Harper on the long-running series, is completely unrecognisable these days. The 31-year-old starred alongside Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer and has stayed out of the spotlight for the last ten years after leaving the show in 2012.

Angus has certainly changed a lot in that time and was photographed earlier his year looking very different. The actor was spotted with a beard as he ran errands in Los Angeles on April 18.

Angus was the highest-paid TV child actor for many years, earning $350,000 per episode until he quit the show after rediscovering his Christian faith. He is reportedly worth a huge $30 million.

The child star began working at age five when he was cast in the 1999 film Simpatico alongside Sharon Stone and Nick Nolte.

Following the show's ninth season in 2012, Angus dubbed Two and a Half Men "filth" and urged people not to watch it.

"Jake from Two and a Half Men means nothing," he said in a YouTube video at the time. "He is a non-existent character. If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men and I don’t want to be on it.

"There’s no playing around when it comes to eternity. People will see us and be like, ‘I can be a Christian and be on a show like Two and a Half Men.' You can’t. You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can’t."

Charlie Sheen backed Angus at the time and slammed the show's creator Chuck Lorre, telling TMZ: "I dare anyone to spend 10 years in the laugh track that is Chuck Lorre’s hive of oppression and not suffer some form of an emotional tsunami.

"Jones’ outburst isn’t an isolated incident but rather a symptom of the toxic environment surrounding the show."

Angus went on to leave the show in 2013 but returned for the series finale in 2015, with Chuck telling Variety: "That's all water under the bridge. He apologised shortly after. We’re on good terms."
