‘Tracker’, ‘Matlock’, ‘FBI’ & ‘NCIS’ Franchises Set Winter Premiere Dates At CBS; ‘Watson’ Gets New Timeslot


CBS has set winter premiere dates for new and returning series on its 2024-25 primetime schedule, including Tracker, Matlock, FBI and NCIS franchises, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Watson, and more.

New medical drama Watson starring Morris Chestnut, which premieres January 26 following the AFC Championship game, will move to its regular time period beginning Sunday, Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. Originally scheduled for the 10 p.m. slot, Watson is now sandwiched between Tracker at 8 p.m and The Equalizer, which caps off the night in its new time period at 10 p.m.

NCIS: Sydney returns for a second season on Friday, Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. and S.W.A.T. moves to 10 p.m.

It’s status quo for much of the winter schedule. The Neighborhood, Poppa’s House, NCIS and NCIS: Origins are back on Monday nights beginning Jan. 27. It’s again all FBI on Tuesdays, starting Jan. 28, with the mothership series kicking off the night at 8 p.m., followed by FBI: International at 9 p.m. and FBI: Most Wanted at 10 p.m.

The Thursday night line-up beginning Jan. 30 begins at 8 p.m. with returning Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, followed by Ghosts at 8:30 p.m., Matlock at 9 p.m. and Elsbeth at 10 p.m.

The new Hollywood Squares reboot with Drew Barrymore will premiere Thursday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m., bringing comedic original fare to the night along with repeats. The game show moves to Wednesdays at 10 p.m. as part of CBS Game Night, beginning on Jan. 29 as original Thursday episodes of CBS scripted series return to the lineup beginning Jan. 30.

The Price Is Right At Night, hosted by Drew Carey, returns Wednesday, Jan. 8 in its new time period at 8 p.m. followed by the Season 2 premiere of Raid The Cage, hosted by Damon Wayans Jr. and Jeannie Mai at 9 p.m.

Jeff Probst-hosted Survivor returns for its 48th season on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. for an hour-long episode 8 p.m. followed by 90-minute episodes throughout the season. The 37th season of The Amazing Race, hosted by Phil Keoghan, premieres with 90-minute episodes beginning Wednesday, March 5 at 9:30 p.m.

The annual special Super Bowl Greatest Commercials returns on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 9 p.m.
