After months of anticipation, it’s - almost - The Bachelor Australia season once again, with the series’ latest premiere just around the corner.

In fact, fans of the cult-favourite will be able to get their fix from next week, with the premiere set to air on Wednesday, July 31 at 7.30pm on Channel 10.

Melbourne-based astrophysicist Matt Agnew is expected to woo a bevy of young women looking for love in what’s already been lauded as a blockbuster season.

Stars are aligned

Included in the already hilarious chaos is an unfortunate gaffe made by one of the ladies in the Bachelor’s first promo which has gone viral around the world.

An early sneak peek of the upcoming season introduced contestant Abbie, who took a bit of a stumble at the first hurdle.

“So what do you do?” Abbie asked, prompting new Bachelor Matt to tell her he’s an astrophysicist.

“Ok, I’m a Gemini,” the bubbly blonde replied, in reference to her star sign.

Her gaffe went viral around the globe with celebs like Sarah Hyland and Paris Jackson, having a laugh at her expense.

The Bachie’s bride?

Another woman decided to rock up in a bridal dress, veil, and even had a bridesmaid in tow, before completing her look with a bouquet of red roses.

Matt’s reaction when he spotted the bride summed up everyone’s general feeling.

“Oh boy,” he said.

“Are you ready?” the as yet-to-be-named asked.

“I’m not sure I am actually,” Matt replied, honestly.

The Bachelor Australia premieres 7.30pm Wednesday, July 31 on Channel 10.
