The Project hosts caught off guard by former PM's surprise comment: 'Creepy'
The Project's Waleed Aly and Lisa Wilkinson were caught off guard on Thursday night after former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd made a surprise comment while appearing as a guest host.
Speaking about the Federal Election on Saturday, Mr Rudd said that he believed Labour had a good chance at winning, saying the Liberal party "do not have a plan for the future".
"I think the mood for change is there but we've still got 36 hours," Mr Rudd said.
"If you're that confident will you get a Scott Morrison tattoo if he wins the election?" Waleed questioned.

"If it's removable, yes," the former PM began, quickly adding, "And you get to identify where it goes."
A surprised Waleed was lost for words, saying, "Well, hang on, that just got..."
"Creepy!" Lisa jumped in.
"I don't know if I'm excited for that or not," Waleed added as the panel laughed.
Earlier, Mr Rudd spoke about what the people of Australia want, saying, "I think people are saying, after nearly 10 years in office, they've had enough time, they do not have a plan for the future and on the questions of people under cost of living pressure, including housing affordability, they want to plan for the future. They want to see action on climate change."
Waleed brutally shut down by guest
It comes after Waleed was brutally shut down by economics journalist Shane Wright while the pair spoke about Scott Morrison's controversial policy, which would allow Aussies to use up to $50,000 from their super for their first home.
Waleed said he thought it was a good use of money and would prefer to be invested in the housing market rather than in his super.
"Ten years ago... I’d much rather have had my money in housing than on the stock market," he said.
However, Shane quickly shut him down, saying, "That's why you're a TV personality and not in the property market."
Waleed's co-host Steve Price then agreed, adding, "That’s why you’re not an economist or real estate agent."
