The Masked Singer's Charlotte Crosby gushes over 'incredible' Abbie Chatfield: 'She doesn't care'
EXCLUSIVE: The UK reality star was deemed a 'word class singer' by The Masked Singer judges.
UK reality star Charlotte Crosby was the sultry voice behind The Masked Singer's 'Space Fairy' costume, in a reveal that shocked a whole lot of people.
While Charlotte is most famous for her role on Geordie Shore and has appeared on Aussie shows like I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! before, no one knew that she also had the voice of an angel.
The UK celeb admitted to never having sung in front of people before and was shocked to have the judges compare her to big voices like Mary J Blige, Marcia Hines, Joss Stone, and Jesy Nelson.
"Surely I didn't sound like Mary J Blige!" Charlotte said to Yahoo Lifestyle when asked about her stellar performances on the show.
"I'm so proud of myself," she continued. "Like, listen, I can carry a tune, but I'm not the best of the best. The fact that I went out on stage in front of a crowd and a Spice Girl! I've never in my whole entire life thought I'd be able to do that."

'Best experience ever'
Despite the headlines saying Charlotte found her experience 'horrendous' she was quick to tell Yahoo LIfestyle that wasn't the case — she was simply only referring to her costume.
"When I took the head off, I was like, 'Thank God I am finally free, that's been horrendous' and I was talking about the costume," she said.
"It was so heavy and big, I was constantly carrying about 30 kilos of pure plastic and metal and it was really uncomfortable. But I had the best experience ever, the experience of the show was not horrendous, please put that out there, because that's not how I felt about the show at all!"
Charlotte Crosby on trying to keep The Masked Singer secret: 'People honestly don't care about me'
"In Australia I actually get papped more than I do in England. I think when someone comes from a different country it seems like a bigger thing, because you've only ever seen us on TV. But in the UK, people see us all the time and they're not really bothered," she said.
When asked about whether the British paps are more ruthless, after the Beckham documentary shone a light once again on the lengths the tabloids go to for a story, Charlotte said she wasn't too bothered by life in the public eye.
"Listen, I've done a lot of TV shows, people honestly don't care about me," she laughed. "Sometimes that's annoying because I wished that people cared a little more, but at other times it's nice because I live a really private, quiet life."
"They were hounded because they were basically like royalty," Charlotte said of the Beckhams. "Like, nobody bothers me. Nobody bothers us in London on the night out, I'll get a couple of pictures taken, but never in my life have I experienced anything to the level they have."
Charlotte on being a fan of Abbie Chatfield: 'She's that b***h'
An exciting moment for Spice Girls fan Charlotte after her unmasking was coming face-to-face with Mel B, but Aussie audiences may be surprised to know that she was also just as excited to see Abbie Chatfield.
After both reality stars appeared on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! but on different seasons, Charlotte noticed Abbie on the I'm A Celeb Instagram account and immediately took a liking to her.
"She speaks her mind. She doesn't give a s**t," Charlotte said.
"I never regretted following her on Instagram, because it is the best. She doesn't care. She calls people out, there's no filter, and I love anyone like that."
The two weren't able to catch up in person minus the unmasking, with Charlotte having to fly out the next day.
"We promised each other [that] next time I'm in Australia, we're gonna do a podcast or we're gonna hang out and I hope that's still going to happen. So I hold Abbie to that, because I'm a big fan.
"I think she's an amazing woman. Everything she stands for is incredible. And I can see why she's so successful in Australia. Because she is that b***h," Charlotte said.
