The Bachelorette: See who's vying for Brooke Blurton's heart
With The Bachelorette due to start next week, internet sleuths are going into overdrive about who the contestants might be who are vying to win Brooke Blurton's heart this season.
Over at www.bachandbachettefans.net, there have been some pretty good picks for who may be about to turn up on the show.
These seem to be backed up (in our opinion) by their Instagram account being set to private – let's face it, Insta is not generally a place where people like to be on the down-low particularly when they have reality TV friends!
So here are the top contenders for this year's contestants...
Carissa Croft
Friends with a former contestant of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise - check; Instagram account now set to private - check. Spotted in the promo - check! We have a winner.
According to So Dramatic! Megan, a former Bachelor contestant herself, and Carissa are besties and former roommates!

"The best kind of trouble," Megan Marx wrote on her post with Carissa to which Carissa replied: "Haha double trouble. F**king love you & all the no good we get up to..."
Is she up to no good with Brooke?
Kurt Herzog
Former swimming champ Kurt Herzog has also gone incognito on Insta after first being revealed as a possible contestant last week. Before that, he was public and open with his 2,732 followers.
He may have gone underground, or underwater, for now, but given his penchant for showing off his abs, doing modelling for the likes of Funky Trunks, we are sure to see more of Kurt on the show.
Holly
Holly introduces herself as a 27-year-old dancer and it's obvious from the get-go that Brooke is blown away!
Little more is known about Holly at this early stage but we'd be foolish to discount her with their early chemistry.
Beau Tauwhara
Beau Tauwhara trained as a carpenter and moonlights as a photographer but given his strong Insta following (he has 109,000!) he is still keeping his professional profile live - for now.
Beau is also friends with Shannon Karaka and Sam Vescio and who were both on Becky and Elly Miles’ season of The Bachelorette according to So Dramatic!, a strong sign that he may has been sought out by producers...
Jamie-Lee Dayz
Jamie-Lee Dayz is a familiar face having met Brooke on the Honey Badger's season of The Bachelor. They had a connection there and Jamie-Lee is back to see if it was more than just that.
"Brooke and I spent a lot of time together in the house. We just clicked but I definitely think it was more than just friends," she said in the promo. "For three years I've wondered if this has been one-sided."
Now she is set to find out whether Brooke will give her a second chance or whether it really is just a friendship.
Darvid Garayeli
Darvid Garayeli is a landscape gardener who runs A to Z Garden & Property Maintenance in Brisbane's western suburbs.
However, with his Persian charms, it seems that he will be tough competition for the other contestants. Even Brooke admits in one of the new promos that she has a really strong connection with Darvid early on!
Other contenders
So who are some of the other contestants that may also be competing for Brooke's attention?
Steve Pliatsikas is a former rugby player and podiatrist who according to the online sleuths over at www.bachandbachettefans.net, briefly dated Nikki Ferris from Matt's season of The Bachelor;
Rebecca Pressing is from Victoria, and had to pivot during the pandemic moving from travel into charity work.
Philippa Coulton, is an activewear product developer from Brisbane;
And then there is Coco White who the Daily Mail speculates is an aspiring influencer.
