With her fame and busy recording schedule making it "nearly impossible to date," she meets Drew (Wallschleger), a pro football player, backstage at her show with his niece." Sparks fly between them and when Drew "publicly declares he has a crush on Bowyn, they decide to give dating a shot."
With each passing day, the couple's "feelings grow stronger … but can it last in the limelight, especially when they both have such hectic schedules?" the logline continues. "With people questioning if their feelings for each other are real or just for show, the pressure mounts from the press, paparazzi, their fans and even their family."
"The pair has until the end of the holiday season to decide if they want to stay together, or let it go down in flames," the synopsis concludes.

Christmas in the Spotlight seemingly mirrors the story of Swift and Kelce's storybook romance.
The timeline of their relationship first began in July 2023, when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was spotted attending her Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium. The football star was seen watching the show from his private box as well as trading friendship bracelets with fans inside the venue.
On his New Heights podcast shortly after the concert, Kelce revealed that he had planned to give Swift a bracelet with his phone number on it but they never ended up connecting after the show.
"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings, so I was a little butthurt that I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her," Kelce explained on his podcast.

The two later sparked romance rumors when Swift publicly cheered on Kelce at his Kanas City Chiefs football game at Arrowhead Stadium in September 2023. However, in her candid interview with Time, Swift revealed they were already a couple by that point.
She noted that they started hanging out right after "Travis very adorably put [her] on blast on his podcast," which she joked was "metal as hell."
