Taylor Swift Fan Shares Bold Observation About Her Role as Travis Kelce's Girlfriend After Unexpected Run-In at Chiefs Game
One longtime Eagles fan and, perhaps, an even bigger Swiftie got the shock of her life last weekend when she found herself attending the Kansas City Chiefs' AFC championship game with Jason Kelce.
Nicole Viscount's whirlwind adventure, which included a trip on Jason's private jet, ended with a kiss from none other than Taylor Swift and a sweet observation of the "So High School" singer's devotion to her beau, Travis Kelce.
Though Viscount enjoyed most of the game from the stands, she made her way to the Kelce private suite at the end, mingling with Travis' friends and family as she got to experience a direct line of sight to Swift's supportive nature.
When the victor finally made it up to the box, Viscount watched Swift "follow him around" ready to snap photos of Travis with every single one of his guests, as she recounted in an interview with the Delaware News Journal. "[She made] sure that he had something to drink and was having a good time," Viscount added, calling Swift "the literal definition of a supportive, happy girlfriend."
But, prior to Travis' arrival, Swift was in the spotlight. Her father, Scott, introduced himself to Viscount first. As a longtime Eagles fan himself, he pointed out the green hat she wore to the wrong championship game (the Eagles were beating the Washington Commanders at the same time the Chiefs were dominating the Buffalo Bills), and chatted about his University of Delaware days until his daughter came over, offering up greetings and hugs before asking how the two knew Kelce.
Viscount's fiancé, Craig Parmenter, played college football with the legendary athletes, and regaled Swift with memories while Viscount did everything possible to remain "cool, calm and collected"—and pretend she hadn't been a massive fan since she was 11.
"But I think she could probably tell just by looking in my eyes," Viscount admitted. After Swift was done taking photos with her beau's crew, she offered one up to anyone else interested.
"She waited for me to fumble around with my phone, very graciously, and then she kissed me on my cheek," Viscount recalled. "I will probably never wash my face again."
"Today I'm just walking around my house trying to figure out how to be a normal person again," she said, reflecting on the "surreal" encounter. Heading back to her serving gig was "a real come-back-to-Earth scenario."
