Sydney Sweeney Posts Rare Photos with Her Fiancé Jonathan Davino During a Trip to Universal Studios Hollywood
The actress and Davino have been engaged since 2022
Sydney Sweeney is giving a glimpse at life with her fiancé Jonathan Davino!
On Saturday, Sept. 14, the actress, 27, shared rare photos with Davino, 41, on Instagram as the couple and their friends took a recent trip to the theme park in Universal City, Calif.
"Came for @horrornights stayed for the minions," Sweeney captioned her post, in reference to the popular characters from the Despicable Me franchise.
The first snap in the carousel, which also included fun videos from the outing, showed Sweeney posing in front of the Universal Studios arch with Davino and five of their friends.
The group was dressed in merchandise in honor of the Despicable Me characters, with some wearing Minions t-shirts and others wearing themed hats. Though the actress typically keeps her relationship out of the public eye, she appeared to have her arm around her fiancé in the photo, with one leg raised in front of him.
Next, the Euphoria star posted a video with her arms wrapped around a friend as they rode down an escalator. In it, Sweeney wore an oversized white sweater with a black leather waist bag hanging from her shoulder.
Another snap showed Sweeney covering her face as she sat at a table and looked at a large cake – in what appeared to be part of a belated birthday celebration as the actress turned 27 on Thursday, Sept. 12.
The carousel continued with more memories from her theme park trip, during which the actress, Davino and their friends visited Mario and The Simpsons-themed attractions. In one photo, she posed back-to-back with a friend as they wore bright red hats with the Mario logo, while Davino appeared in the background of the photo leaning against a wall.
Sweeney also shared pictures from the Horror Nights event at the park which references popular horror franchises – including A Quiet Place – and occurs on select evenings from August 30 to November 3.
Towards the end of her carousel, the actress shared another snap that showed her posed with the group, standing next to her fiancé, who wore a t-shirt that appeared to have "Sydney" printed on the front above a collage of images of Sweeney.
Sweeney and Davino have been engaged since 2022 after first sparking rumors that they were dating in 2018.
The actress nodded to keeping her relationship under wraps last year, telling Glamour UK in December 2023, "Everyone is always so curious about who I’m with and what’s that like, but I think it’s important to have something for me. I’m very open [otherwise]. I talk about so much and sometimes it gets me in trouble, but I do try to keep something for me."
However, the couple has previously worked together, with Davino joining Sweeney as a producer on her 2023 hit rom-com Anyone But You, in which she and Glen Powell played played love interests.
"Jonathan is my producing partner, so he helped put the whole thing together," she told Glamour UK. "It’s really great to work with someone who knows you so well, who fully supports your ideas, your vision and your voice … And it’s nice. I mean, who doesn’t want to be with their best friend all the time?"

Meanwhile, earlier this year the couple was spotted smiling together as they arrived at an airport in Los Angeles.
Looking happy as they strolled through the airport on Friday, April 26, Davino held Sweeney close, while she pushed a suitcase and Miu Miu bag along with her.
