Pink Inspires Fans With Rare, 'Emotional' Rendition of Powerful Track Following Election Results

Pink whipped out a rarely performed song from her repertoire in response to the projected presidential election results, and the stripped-down rendition of "All I Know So Far" left fans with chills.

The change in setlist came during her Summer Carnival tour stop in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, where she sat down at the end of her catwalk with her guitarist, Justin Derrico, for a brief acoustic set.

The two sat on stools as most of the stage lights went down while they performed what one fan called "the perfect song" to address the election.

"Haven't always been this way / I wasn't born a renegade / I felt alone, still feel afraid / I stumble through it anyway," the song opened, as captured in one of several videos uploaded to Instagram. "I wish someone would have told me that this life is ours to choose / No one's handing you the keys or a book with all the rules / The little that I know I'll tell to you / When they dress you up in lies and you're left naked with the truth," the lyrics continued.

In another video, Pink belted, "You throw your head back, and you spit in the wind / Let the walls crack, 'cause it lets the light in / Let 'em drag you through hell / They can't tell you to change who you are / That's all I know so far."

The "Who Knew" singer made it known prior to Election Day that she'd be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

"Vote for democracy, vote for love and vote for respect," she encouraged her fans. "Vote for your family, your loved ones and your community. Freedom of the press, reproductive freedom, the right to vote, the right to read books. The right to go to school and get an education separate from religion. Vote for the future. Vote for decency."

After Donald Trump won the election, Harris addressed the nation, encouraging her constituents to be the light in the dark.

"I know many people feel like we are entering a dark time. For the benefit of us all, I hope that is not the case," the vice president stated. "But, America, if it is: Let us fill the sky with the light of a billion brilliant stars."

The similar sentiments struck a chord with Pink's fans, with one responding to the video, "This was the perfect song for today. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ we have to keep shining. Don't quit fighting. We need Love."

"😢😢😢❤️ good day for that song..👏👏👏👏," another agreed, while a third wrote, in part, "Thank you for this especially today when the world seems so dark…"

"So emotional 🥲," someone else replied.
