Yahoo Lifestyle 'SVU' Fans Missed Mariska Hargitay's Holiday Date With Her Husband
Mariska Hargitay is definitely taking advantage of her hiatus from Law and Order: SVU, and she's using the time off for some quality time with the love of her life.
The actress isn't always one to share private moments with her husband Peter Hermann on social media, but she decided to do just that in a surprise Instagram post on December 7. Posing for a selfie, folks could see the the longtime couple all dressed up for what appeared to be a fancy date night out during the holiday season. And if that wasn't enough to get folks going, Mariska made sure to reference her sparkly silver outfit (fitting for this time of year!) when documenting the romantic moment with her husband of 20 years.
"Date night #silverbells," she casually wrote alongside the image.
Given how the two like to keep their romance out of the spotlight, fans adored seeing Mariska and Peter taking a moment for themselves.

As Mariska posted on Instagram the next day on December 8, it looked like the two were making the best of the holiday season. Standing in front of a decorated Christmas tree, she couldn't help but reference how sweet the moment was during the most wonderful time of the year.
"It’s the holiday season 🎶🎵♥️💚♥️," she affectionately captioned the photo.
