Another Supernatural wedding is in the works!
Costars Rob Benedict and Ruth Connell are engaged and headed to the altar. "We got engaged earlier in the year, right before we welcomed our daughter Margaret into the world," Benedict exclusively tells PEOPLE. "The ring was designed by New York designer Sophie Ratner."
"Getting a lot of love and support from my older children," he adds, referring to his kids Audrey and Calvin, whom he shares with his ex-wife Mollie. "We are very happy and looking forward to the adventure."

Benedict, 54, and Connell, 45, shared the screen in the long-running CW series, which aired from 2005 to 2020. The Scottish actress portrayed the character of Rowena for six seasons, while Benedict played God/Chuck Shurley.
Theirs is not the only real-life romance to come from the hit show. Star Jared Padalecki met wife Genevieve on set in 2008, married in February 2010 and have since welcomed three kids together. In addition, actors DJ Qualls and Ty Olsson got engaged earlier this year after meeting at a Supernatural convention.
Benedict and Connell are having a year of big life milestones. In addition to their engagement, their daughter, named Margaret Vivian, made her arrival on Jan. 12.

Connell announced the baby's birth on Instagram one month later on Feb. 9. Alongside photos of Margaret's tiny feet and hands, she wrote, "4 weeks old today … The most ecstatic moment of my life was hearing Margaret Vivian Benedict’s healthy cry upon delivery … 01.12.24. In love. Much longed for."
She added a sweet shout-out to Benedict and his older kids: "Thank you @robenedict. I love you, Calvin and Audrey."
Benedict showed his love to Connell on her birthday back in April, posting a cute photo of the pair and writing, "Happy Birthday to this wee peach. ❤️ @ruthie_connell."
In September, Connell returned the favor, celebrating her now-fiancé's birthday by sharing a black-and-white selfie of the pair — in which Benedict is not looking directly at the camera. "Happy birthday pal @robenedict 🖤," Connell wrote, jokingly adding of his selfie-taking skills, "You’ll find the lens one of these days."
Connell — who stars in Netflix and DC Comics' Dead Boy Detectives — spoke to PEOPLE in April about how "nothing in my life has ever happened at a time I thought it would."
"I didn't go to drama college when I thought I would, I didn't get my breakthrough [role] when I thought I would … it's interesting to me that both this show [Dead Boy Detectives] and Margaret both took about five years to gestate and come through," she said at the time, sharing her advice that you have to "just keep on going" to realize your goals and dreams.
"If you know what you want, just keep taking the steps toward that. Even if it doesn't work out the way you planned, at least that way you know you tried," Connell continued. "With Margaret, I tried so hard and even if it hadn't worked out, at least I would have known I gave it everything I had."
