Pregnancy makes a few foods and beverages off limits, such as sushi, certain cheeses, cold cuts and, of course, alcohol and coffee.

So Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard wasted no time indulging in all of her favorites after giving birth to her first child, daughter Gemma, earlier this month.

“As soon as I popped this baby out, I was thinking about what I was going to eat,” Hubbard, 38, tells PEOPLE.

The reality star partnered with Jimmy John’s and enjoyed their Vito sandwich — her favorite on the restaurant’s menu — in the delivery room right after giving birth, along with their signature chips and a cookie.

“I was dying to eat my Jimmy John's sandwich,” Hubbard, who fell in love with the sandwich chain while studying at University of Florida, says. “I had so much fun partnering with them throughout the pregnancy. Non-meat sandwiches became a staple in my ordering routine of food throughout my pregnancy, so the Jimmy John's Picklewich and the veggie sandwich as well, but I was so excited to finally get to eat my Vito Jimmy John's, which is similar to an Italian. I love the very simple sandwiches because at the end of the day when you haven't had something for 10 months, you're like, ‘Okay, I just want my classic favorites.’ "

Hubbard has a few other things she looks forward to doing again now that her pregnancy has ended, like laser hair removal and tying her shoes.

“It sounds so silly, but towards the end of my pregnancy I was so big that I couldn't move around quickly and I would get really, really tired very quick,” she says of being unable to reach her feet. “I've been gaining my energy back and I can move quicker. It's been almost two weeks since I gave birth ... and I just have more energy despite the fact that I'm sleeping a significantly amount less."

She continues, “I also just can't wait to get back to some of my beauty treatments like laser hair removal. Oh my God, I'm so hairy right now! The added hormones really, my hair grew. So I am dying to get some of this body hair lasered off.”

When it comes to breastfeeding, Hubbard says she feels “very blessed” that Gemma “came out and within 20 minutes she was latching on to my breast.”

“That doesn't happen often, and I feel very lucky that she was so easy and still is,” Hubbard continues. “But breastfeeding, it's not for the faint. You have to stick with it. It is very a rigorous routine. I have to feed her every two to three hours — that's the most important thing.”

Hubbard says she’s been supplementing with formula “while my body is learning how to produce more milk” and has had the support of a lactation consultant.

“I think what's surprising is how quickly she's changing,” Hubbard says. “She looks so different now than she did when she first came out. Every couple of days she looks different, and I already feel like, ‘Oh no, she's growing up so fast.’ It hasn't even been two weeks!"

The former publicist gave her Summer House costars a heads up before announcing Gemma’s arrival on Dec. 8 at the request of Paige DeSorbo.

“I texted our Summer House girl group chat the day before I announced on Instagram because Paige had specifically requested, ‘Can you please tell us when you have your baby before you tell everyone?’ ” Hubbard says. “So I texted the group chat and I was like, ‘Can you guys keep a secret?’ And they were just over the moon, so happy.”

Hubbard has also chatted with fellow Bravolebrities Austen Kroll from Southern Charm and The Valley’s Kristen Doute, who is currently pregnant with her first child, since welcoming her baby girl.

“I feel like she's right behind me with her motherhood journey, so we text quite a bit,” Hubbard says of the Vanderpump Rules alum, 41. “Austen was doing an interview with Entertainment Tonight, and [producer] Brice Sander was like, ‘By the way, Lindsay had her baby.’ And Austen started texting me. So it's nice.”

The influencer sums up new motherhood as “sleepless nights” with “a lot to consume and learn.”

“It's a lot of hard work,” she says. “It's a lot of newness and being it's a big learning curve. But physically and emotionally, doing great.”
