Big W, just like Kmart, loves a good dupe, and a $30 pair of sandals is causing quite the stir online after being compared to a designer pair that's $1750 and another brand's $100 pair. Brisbane Fashion stylist Sarah Strozkiy took to Instagram to share the &me Women's Turn Lock Sandals with her followers, saying, "I am going to save you a lot of money," i.e. the magic words we/our partners love to hear.

"These are my all-time favourite sandals," she said, holding a pair of black sandals. "So, these are Billini, and I paid $100 for these sandals because I really, really wanted them. Only to discover you can get the same style at Big W for $30.

"So I decided to grab a pair, but in this gorgeous ivory colour, because I already have the black. I was literally walking past Big W wearing those shoes going, 'What the hell?' I swear to God, I find dupes all the time."

Sarah wrote in the caption: "Girrrrl, you’ve got to get your hands on the Big W turn lock sandals for only $30!! I’ve already rocked them at the park and around the shopping centre since filming this, and let me tell you… they’re sooo comfy!

"Honestly, if I knew they were gonna drop them in black, I might’ve held off buying the Billini style. If you’re on a budget and still want to look trendy chic, I’ve got you covered as I love finding fashion dupes."

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Sarah shared why she is so passionate about finding dupes for her followers.

"I believe it’s so important for the everyday woman, especially with the current cost of living challenges, to still feel that joy from her wardrobe is within reach," she tells us. " That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing fashion dupes, especially when the material is similar, but the price difference is hundreds of dollars.

"We’re already stressed trying to figure out what to eat each week, so the last thing on our minds should be investing in a $100 pair of shoes. If I can find affordable alternatives at places like Big W for $30 or less, then I feel I’m helping a lot of women not only look good, save their money but also helping them find a little piece of happiness, and happiness is what we need most right now."

She added, "It’s about helping women feel important, confident, and stylish without the stress of money being a factor. That’s why I love sharing these finds with my community."

"Added to cart," one user wrote, while another said, "Thank you, I love it when you share dupes."

"Yes!! I’ve got a dupe of some Midas sandals from Target and a pair of Dr Marten dupes from Payless," a third added. "Love both so much and they’re actually really comfortable!"

"On my way to Big W," someone else wrote.

"Yea but are they as comfortable?" one user questioned. "And as good quality as the expensive pair? Sometimes the cheap isn't worth it. You have to take care of your feet."

"It’s made from the same material and yes they are comfortable. Worn them all day chasing after my toddler. I’ll do a follow-up review after a month wearing them," Sarah responded.

Some users brought up the $1750 Dior Dioract Sandal, with one user writing, "This style is a copy of the Dior Dioract sandal and you’ll find so, so many copies of this across the board - Steve Madden and Zara also have a version available here in Australia.

"It’s just like that quote from The Devil Wears Prada about the cerulean sweater and in a sense to be expected that other designers will copy Dior."
