Big W shoppers hyped about 'absolutely amazing' $25 dupe of $50 cult buy: 'Identical'
The viral Sol de Janeiro's Bum Bum Jet Set packs will set you back $50, but the MCo version is half the price.
MCoBeauty has done it again with a convincing dupe of a mini collection of well-loved beauty buys. The skincare and beauty brand has launched three new Endless Summer Mini Body kits which fans have been quick to identify as very similar to Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Jet Set packs.
“I was in Big W and the corner of my eye caught a glimpse of the MCoBeauty Mini Sets. When I tell you I ran, I seriously ran to grab these mini packs!” NSW beauty influencer Tinayah Safi, 22, told Yahoo Lifestyle.
The skincare brand, known for re-creating more affordable versions of popular products, has introduced the collection, priced at $25 at Big W - half the price of the Sol de Janeiro original pack which contains the same mix of body wash, body cream and fragrance mist and is retailing for $50 at Mecca.
And, here's the best part - Tinayah claims they’re just as good.
“The fragrance mists are identical in regards to the scent and the body creams smell absolutely amazing,” she said. Her TikTok showing off her haul has been watched more than 10,000 times.

“Are you seeing what I’m seeing right now?” she says in the video, holding up the three different packs available: a yellow Salted Caramel and Pistachio scented one, a red Black Plum and Vanilla and a purply-pink Dragonfruit and Jasmine.
“MCoBeauty is insane,” she squealed, pulling out the “cute” products. “You guys need to run to Big W to get your hands on these... I can’t believe it.”
“I have tried all three sets, and am obsessed with all of them,” she added to Yahoo Lifestyle. “My favourite product is the Mini Fragrance Mist. It’s 30ml and is the perfect size for my handbag.”
Others flock to buy dupe of popular product
Others have also been quick to jump on the dupe, with Aussie mum of two Corrine Mayfair sharing a video of the shelf full of the minis in her local Big W. Her clip has prompted hundreds of comments with people desperate to get their hands on the products.
“I so want – no, need – one of these sets,” said one.
“What colour do you gals recommend?” asked another, to a flurry of replies.
"Yellow", said one because: “I have never been complimented so much before on a perfume/scent,” while another comment said the purple was her favourite after: “almost everyone at work asked me what I use and are now using it as well.”
Many shoppers agreed that the minis are the perfect dupe of the $50 Sol de Janeiro packs and that luxe-for-less is what they’re here for.
“It smells IDENTICAL,” said one of the yellow kit.
“Honestly in this economy idc it’s so slay,” she another.

MCoBeauty also sells larger, individual versions of each product.
The body wash is $22, the body cream $34 and the mist $20; all a fraction of the price of their Sol de Janerio counterparts.
“If you’re on a budget, MCoBeauty offers such great, affordable alternatives,” Tinayah said.
