Sprite’s Fan-Favorite Remix Flavor Returns But the Re-Release Has Fans Saying the Same Thing
A beloved Sprite remix flavor is expected to be more widely available this year, and fans can’t quite believe their luck.
According to popular soda blogger SodaSeekers, the “fan-favorite” Sprite Tropical Mix has historically only been available for purchase in select regions. That is reportedly slated to change this spring.

In addition to the 20-ounce bottles that fans are familiar with, the tropical spin on the Coca-Cola Company lemon-lime soda brand will also start coming in 12-ounce cans, SodaSeekers announced in an Instagram post on Friday, Jan. 24. The cans will be sold in packs of 12.
Both the Sprite Tropical Mix bottles and cans are expected to be available nationwide in stores where Sprite products are sold starting on March 3, SodaSeekers noted.

Parade reached out to the Coca-Cola Company via email on Friday, Jan. 24, for comment.
A product description on Sprite’s website describes the Tropical Mix as an “ode to our past for all the Sprite Remix fans from the early 2000s” that features a “combination of the crisp, familiar Sprite lemon-lime taste with delicious strawberry and pineapple flavors.”
Fans appeared to be overjoyed by the news, with one writing, “Yesss love this flavor” as another shared that they “never knew this was region locked, pretty cool!”
“FINALLY IM TIRED OF ONLY GETTING THEM ON ROAD TRIPS,” one Instagram user wrote.
Despite the excitement felt my many, others expressed disappointment that the soda will reportedly not have a Zero Sugar option.
“Need those sprites in zero sugar,” one fan declared as another shared the news on X, formerly Twitter, writing that, “unfortunately, there will be no zero sugar.”

One Sprite fan who has tried Sprite Tropical Mix also voiced a preference for a sugarless soda on Instagram, writing that while the flavor was “pretty good,” there was “no zero sugar 😞” option.
“No Zero Sugar, unfortunately,” a Reddit user echoed while addressing the anticipated product availability online.
