Spider-Man Noir Series at Amazon Adds Eight Recurring Cast Members
The “Spider-Noir” series at Amazon has added eight recurring cast members, Variety has learned.
The series, which is the first live-action project to feature the character Spider-Man Noir, has cast: Lukas Haas (“Babylon,” “Inception”), Cameron Britton (“Mindhunters,” “A Man Called Otto”), Cary Christopher (“Days of Our Lives,” “Fuller House”), Michael Kostroff (“The Wire,” “Wizard of Lies”), Scott MacArthur (“El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,” “The Mick”), Joe Massingill (“Killing It,” “Barry”), Whitney Rice (“Jury Duty,” “Suits”), and Amanda Schull (“Suits,” “12 Monkeys”). Exact character details are being kept under wraps.

The new additions join series lead Nicolas Cage as well as fellow cast members Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li and Jack Huston. As previously reported, the show will debut domestically on MGM+’s linear channel and then globally on Amazon Prime Video.
Per the official logline, the show “tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.”
Haas is repped by Paradigm, LBI Entertainment, and Yorn Levine Barnes. Britton is repped by UTA, Venture Entertainment Partners, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Christopher is repped by Zuri Agency, Evolve Talent Management, and Yorn Levine Barnes. Kostroff is repped by BRS Gage and Schiowitz Artists Inc. MacArthur is repped by UTA, Haven Entertainment, and Yorn Levine Barnes. Massingill is repped Venture Entertainment Partners, Ellis Talent Group, J Pervis Talent, and Goodman Genow.
Rice is repped by The Kohner Agency, Artists First, and Yorn Levine Barnes. Schull is repped by Sweeney Entertainment and Innovative Artists.
“Spider-Noir” hails from Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot, who will also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. They developed the series with the “Into the Spider-Verse” team of Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal, all of whom will also executive produce. Harry Bradbeer will executive produce and direct the first two episodes. Pascal executive produces via Pascal Pictures, with Lord and Miller executive producing via Lord Miller. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, with Lord Miller currently under an overall deal at Sony.
