Sonia Kruger shocks with racy joke about Todd McKenney on DWTS

After stunning fans last week with an X-rated comment about her “safe word”, Sonia Kruger has once again left viewers shocked when she made a racy joke while hosting Dancing with the Stars: All Stars.

The TV host couldn’t stop laughing during Sunday night’s episode following her risqué remark about judge Todd McKenney’s love for robots.

The comments came after she spoke with contestant David Rodan and his dance partner Alex Vladimirov and discussed their skintight robotic bodysuits.

“This is where you insert the flash drive,” she joked while pointing to the football player’s backside, before turning him around and adding, “Around the front we have the hard drive”.

After receiving plenty of giggles from the other competitors, Sonia then took aim at Todd on the judging panel.

“Do you know Todd loves robots?” she said. “He has one in his dressing room, it's called the Todd Bot 3000. How many speeds does it have, Todd?”

“Too many for you, Sonia!” he quipped, to which she replied, “Sadly, he's broken the joystick. And just like Todd, it's got artificial intelligence. It is quite old though, it does still take a three and a half-inch floppy!”

Sonia immediately burst into laughter at her own joke and collapsed into Grant Denyer’s arms while the crowd applauded.

“Oh god, I’m cracking myself up!” she said.

Fans at home were equally as surprised by Sonia’s comments, taking to social media to commend her quick wit.

“That was bloody gold Sonia,” one person wrote. “You have to admit Todd, she’s on fire tonight.”

“Sonia Kruger is my idol!” another added. “Her wicked sense of humour comes to the forefront on Dancing With The Stars, and I have to say, it’s what I’ve missed in her other hosting gigs! I love her banter with Todd so much!”

‘Too far?’

The hilarious on-air moment comes a week after Sonia interviewed Kris Smith and his dance partner Siobhan Power following their performance and questioned whether they were in any pain from the complex moves.

“How are your knees, by the way? Do you have a safe word in case things go wrong, like pineapple, or Daryl?” she joked. “Because my safe word is ‘harder’."

A stunned Kris laughed with the crowd while Sonia asked the cameras, “Did I go too far then? I think I did!”
