In a video shared to Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 26, Snoop jammed out to music in his parked car while telling the camera, "For all the hate, I'm going to answer with love."

Earlier this month, Snoop, 53, performed at the Inaugural Crypto Ball in celebration of Trump's inauguration in Washington, D.C. Rick Ross and Soulja Boy were also musical guests at the event.

Snoop was heavily criticized by his fans after he was announced as one of the performers at the Jan. 17 pre-inauguration event. But according to the rap music artist, "Y'all can't hate enough on me, I love too much."

In his Instagram video on Sunday, Snoop fired back at the haters, saying, "Get your life right stop worrying about mine. I'm cool. I'm together."

"Still a black man. Still 100% black," he asserted, even though he never mentioned Trump or the specific event directly.

The comments on Snoop's post varied from messages of support to continued criticism about his decision, including followers who reiterated that they "lost all respect" for him. Another user called the "Drop It Like It's Hot" artist a "sell out."

However, some fans still stood by Snoop's side, with one user writing, "Your real fans are still here Snoop! ❤️."

"We got you Snoop," another supporter added.
