Here Are 23 Outrageous Snoop Dogg Side Quests That Show He Truly Is Everywhere
From tha Chuuuch to da Palace and beyond, Snoop Dogg has done it all. Since introducing himself on "Deep Cover" as the young prodigy of Dr. Dre, the 52-year-old rapper is, without a doubt, one of the most recognizable faces in pop culture.
And that's probably been the case for upwards of 30 years at this point. Snoop Dogg is a household name, one that's as known in the Netherlands as he is in India.
His recent appearance at the Paris 2024 Olympics this summer proves as much. He's the Special Correspondent for NBC and Peacock, and he hasn't disappointed. Whether linking up with Simone Biles and Michael Phelps, carrying the Olympic torch, or getting into side quests, it's been just as exciting to see Snoop cross things off his bucket list as it's been to see Team USA go for the gold.
In light of Snoop's recent viral moments, whether swimming, fencing, judo, or running track, we're diving into some of Snoop Dogg's most random side quests of his career.
1.Though Snoop Dogg established himself as an actor, his filmography is long. But outside of roles in movies like Soul Plane, Training Day, and Starsky & Hutch, he's also executive produced and hosted a number of series. This includes reality shows and documentaries about his family life and his youth football league (Snoop Dogg's Father Hood, Coach Snoop), a variety show with guest appearances from Paris Hilton, among others, (Dogg After Dark), and a documentary about his transformation into Snoop Lion (Reincarnated).
2.His friendship with Martha Stewart is just as baffling as it is heartwarming. The two have gone on to host their cooking show, Potluck Dinner Party, host the Puppy Bowl, star in several Super Bowl ads together, launch BIC EZ Reach lighter (and accessories), and so much more. Not only is it an endearing relationship between the two, but it is also a lucrative one.
3.Snoop has his own cookbook. Interestingly enough, Martha Stewart also penned the forward for Snoop Dogg's recipe book, From Crook To Cook.
4.Of course, we have to mention his gig at the Olympics. It strengthens the relationship between hip-hop and athletics, especially since this year just so happens to be the same year that breakdancing was introduced as a discipline.
5.Outside of actually rapping, Snoop Dogg can get down on the ones-and-twos. Under the moniker, DJ Snoopadelic, the LBC MC has been dishing out funky DJ sets throughout his career, oftentimes at afterparties and other club events. Needless to say, he's a showman through and through and knows how to make any party jump.
6.Speaking of other musical endeavors, we can't forget about Snoop Lion – the alter ego he assumed when recording his reggae album, Reincarnated.
7.And also, the times he went country. As you've probably heard, Willie Nelson is the only person to ever outsmoke Snoop Dogg. The two have also collaborated on songs like "My Medicine" and "Superman." In 2022, he collaborated with Trace Adkins on the song "So Do The Neighbors."
8.And the random time he covered Metallica's "Sad But True" at MTV Icon.
9.Let's also not forget the time he became a pastor. As a fan of gospel music, he delved into the genre for his project, Bible Of Love, where he was more or less a curator rather than a main artist. Regardless, it welcomed a new chapter in Snoop's life that leaned into his spirituality.

He's launched Leafs By Snoop, Death Row Cannabis, and partnered with Executive Branch to launch his line of cigarillos/blunts. Snoop also launched a cannabis-oriented media company called Merry-Jane alongside Ted Chung. Moreover, he launched a weed coffee shop in the Netherlands and in L.A. called S.W.E.D. (Smoke Weed Everyday), per Forbes.
13. In his downtime, Snoop Dogg is an avid gamer. He was once on the board of directors at the esports organization FaZe Clan, though he has since stepped down. However, Snoop's also delved into live streaming, which brought some hilarious moments. Typically, he'd be chilling and smoking while playing games on Twitch, but there was the infamous rage-quit episode where he angrily left Madden mid-stream and returned 8 hours later, only to realize that he was still streaming. Plus, every time he got into character while playing games like Call Of Duty belong in the internet's Hall Of Fame.
