"With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her," Neeson said in a new interview with PEOPLE published Friday, Oct. 25, while calling Anderson, 57, "just terrific to work with" on the crime comedy film, a reboot of the original Leslie Nielsen-led franchise.

Continuing to gush about Anderson, Neeson said, "I can't compliment her enough."

"I'll be honest with you," he added, noting that the former Playboy cover star has "no huge ego."

"She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film," he continued.

And apparently, the adoration goes both ways.

Anderson, who plays a "femme fatale" opposite Neeson's character in the new movie, called the Taken actor a "perfect gentleman" on set.

"He brings out the best in you...with respect, kindness and depth of experience," she added to the outlet, while also calling Neeson "humble" at another point in the conversation.

Anderson went on to say that her co-star "sincerely looked after me—wrapped his coat around me when I was cold."

She returned the favor by leaving gifts of homemade bread and cookies in his dressing room.

"It was an absolute honor to work with him," she gushed.

After wrapping filming earlier this year, The Naked Gun is projected to release in the summer of 2025, according to IMDB.
