Your late-night sweet treat adventure just got a little sweeter.

7-Eleven is collaborating with the creative minds behind Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies to introduce a brand-new sip: the Sour Pineapple Slurpee. This puckery, sweet-and-sour frozen treat is created in partnership with the legendary four-time NBA champion’s gummy brand. In fact, the convenience chain noted that it’s inspired by one of the fans’ favorite flavors in the Shaq-A-Licious Sour pack.

The exclusive Sour Pineapple Slurpee is available only until April 29, so it’s time to plan your trip to 7-Eleven. You can also find a Sour Pineapple Slurpee at participating Speedway and Stripes locations nationwide.

Standing at just over seven feet tall, Shaquille O’Neal dubbed himself the “biggest kid in the candy store” when he launched his gummy brand late last year. The larger-than-life candies also have significant backing: They’re produced in collaboration with The Hershey Company. Shaq-a-licious XL Gummies are indeed shaped like O’Neal’s face and come in two variety packs (Original and Sour) featuring flavors such as pineapple, mixed berry, and peach.

The branding plays off Shaq’s most recognizable nicknames over the years — including The Big Shamrock, Diesel, and The Big Cactus. The treats also touch on a personal note. In a fall 2025 interview with Food & Wine, O’Neal said his love of candy can be traced back to his upbringing on a military base.

“Candy was my way of knowing that I was doing good,” he said. “My father would give me a dollar or two, and we lived on a post where they didn’t charge tax, so I was probably able to get two to three more. Always chocolate and, living in Germany, always gummy bears.”

Interested in trying this sippable version of O’Neal’s gummies? Stripes and Speedway stores are tacking on an extra deal for your consideration: Customers can buy any size Slurpee and get a bag of Shaq-A-Licious Gummies for just $2. (Dessert maximalists, of course, already know that gummies make an excellent pairing for road trips and late-night snacks alike.)

7-Eleven has never been shy about a bit of teamwork — after all, it’s released a Coca-Cola Oreo Slurpee and Slurpee-flavored Drumstick in the past year alone. Innovation in the name of a more whimsical sweet treat? We’d raise a Sour Pineapple Slurpee to that.
