Single mum's huge Kmart and Bonds haul has shoppers in awe

A savvy single mum has taken to social media to share photos of a spectacular 50-item bargain haul from Kmart and Bonds, which only cost her $12.95.

The Victorian woman posted photographs of her haul on the Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook page earlier this week.

"Out of pocket this only cost me $12.95, but the full price was $482.95."

The woman also explained how she nabbed the bargains in her post, revealing to customers that she shopped at a rural Kmart and Bonds outlet to score the discounted items.

Mum reveals touching reason for daughter's wardrobe overhaul

The woman who posted her incredible bargain haul to the Markdown Addicts Australia page revealed why she needed to replenish her daughter's wardrobe.

"I just want to mention it because I know some people can be judgmental of parents, yes her mattress is too small for her bed," she said.

"I am unemployed and haven't been approved yet for Centrelink, we were given a king single frame but only had a single mattress in storage from when I left my daughter's dad recently due to domestic violence."

"But since I left, my daughter was mostly living in hand-me-downs - I'm so glad I was able to get so much bang for my buck with this haul!" she said.

Group members swarmed to respond to the woman's comment with a touching display of support.

"How fitting for your daughter to be wearing girl power tops when her mum is such a superwoman," one group member wrote.

"You do not need to explain anything to anyone - chin up doll you are doing amazing," wrote another.

"You sound like a wonderful, caring mum and that's what really counts," commented a third.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, the woman said that the group's supportive messages brought a smile to her face.

"The people in the group have been amazing, they've really made me feel a lot better about having to get my daughter discount clothing and shoes," she said.

"Someone in the group mentioned that I should have gotten myself something, but I am happy to go without as long as my daughter has what she needs."
