Shock as Timothee Chalamet Named as ‘SNL’ Musical Guest
Saturday Night Live has revealed its first guests for 2025—with one shocking viewers.
Actor Timothee Chalamet will take the stage on Jan. 25 not only as host, but also as a musical guest.
Although the details of the performance weren’t given away, Chalamet has starred in two films that showcased his singing skills: 2023’s Wonka, and 2024’s A Complete Unknown.
The latter film featured the actor’s portrayal of Bob Dylan, where he recorded a soundtrack and performed 40 songs live with guitar and harmonica.
He also starred in an SNL skit in Dec. 2020 where he sang “Tiny Horse,” a scene that became a fan favorite.
“This is my second Super Bowl‚” one user commented underneath a post that announced Chalamet’s guesting.
“Isn’t he suppose to be an actor,” another wrote.
Saturday Night Live is coming back on Jan. 18, its first host being Dave Chappelle. The controversial comedian has also raised eyebrows with his SNL comeback.
