Shailene Woodley, Zachary Quinto, Barbie Ferreira to Star in Leslye Headland’s ‘Cult of Love’ on Broadway
Shailene Woodley, “Star Trek” actor Zachary Quinto and “Euphoria” star Barbie Ferreira will lead the Broadway cast of “Cult of Love,” a play by “Star Wars: The Acolyte” and “Russian Doll” creator Leslye Headland.
Billed as an “equally heartwarming and heartbreaking new play about the things that bind families together… or tear them apart,” the story takes place during the holiday season and follows the Dahls. As the four adult siblings return to their childhood home — with their partners in tow — the family resumes traditions like spontaneously singing carols in harmony. But the gathering is anything but harmonious. As the official logline teases, “Old conflicts resurface, new issues battled, and dinner is taking absolutely forever to be served. Will the love the Dahls have for each other be enough to get them through, or will this be their last Christmas together?”
