“School of Rock” costars put fans in a frenzy with new photos together flashing diamond ring“”

Frankie and "Blondie" forever.

The music is still going strong for School of Rock actors Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli.

The duo, who played Marta (nickname: Blondie) and Frankie in Richard Linklater's 2003 comedy about a man posing as a substitute teacher (Jack Black), who turns his young students into a rock band, sent fans swooning with photos she posted on Instagram this week. Hale and Massagli, who've dated since 2016, posed for several black-and-white snapshots, while wearing formal attire — and, in her case, a sparkling ring — against the backdrop of Brooklyn, N.Y.

"Sneak peek," she captioned it.

The official Instagram account of Julian Ribnik Studios, whose bio describes a wedding photographer, thanked them "very much for the honor." Hale also tagged hair and makeup artists Royal Brides.

EW has reached out to Hale for confirmation the two are engaged.

The couple met making the movie, alongside costars including Miranda Cosgrove, Joan Cusack, and Sarah Silverman, well before they were even teenagers.

In May 2021, Massagli recalled to Inside Edition that he was impressed by Hale from the start.

"I remember my first audition for School of Rock like it was yesterday," he told the outlet. "I get in there and the little blonde girl next to me, she gets called in first and she starts singing show tunes and just blows the roof off the place. It was excellent."

They stayed in touch after the film through a group chat with their former costars. After she happened to move near him in Florida, he and Hale, who now works in the medical profession, met up a few times and became a couple.

Meanwhile, their hit movie has spawned reincarnations on Broadway and TV, but not a direct sequel. Yet.

“I wish there'd be a School of Rock 2 Electric Boogaloo," Black, a member of comedy rockers Tenacious D, jokingly told website Joe in March. "I'm ready."

But Black would want the original writer to pen the script again.

"We'd have to have Mike White back in the saddle, but he's real busy right now with White Lotus, the best show on TV."

We can guess who would perform at a reception.
