Sam Wood reveals strict rules for 17-year-old daughter's boyfriend
Former Bachelor star Sam Wood has revealed the strict rules that he and his wife Snezana have set for their 17-year-old daughter Eve and her boyfriend when he visits their home.
The fitness expert, who recently welcomed his fourth child with Snezana, told Fitzy & Wippa on Tuesday morning that their eldest daughter’s boyfriend isn’t allowed to sleep over and they have an open-door policy.
“He is a really nice fella,” Sam said at the beginning of the chat. “Full forward in the footy team.”
When asked if he is allowed to spend the night at their house, Sam was quick to share his answer.
“Oh god, hell no!” he replied. “Snez says door open even when he’s over.”

Host Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald also asked Sam if he’s had the chance to grill the new boyfriend or ask him any questions.
“Eve rolls her eyes and gets him out of there pretty quick smart,” he explained. “You get about 30 seconds to grill him and then that’s it.”
As well as Eve, Sam and Snezana are parents to Willow, 5, Charlie, 3, and Harper, four months.
The couple met and fell in love on the third season of The Bachelor in 2015, which has the highest-rated finale in the history of the franchise.
Sam’s reality TV plans
Sam’s comments come shortly after he spoke with Yahoo Lifestyle about staying away from reality TV after The Bachelor, and whether he’d ever appear on SAS Australia.
“I don’t know, maybe one day,” he said. “I think for me it's not, ‘Would you want to do that?’, because the answer to that is absolutely… For me, it's purely a family decision, no other decision other than that.
“I’d be very lucky if they would have me whenever that time might be. I'd love to be on the show when the time is right but I just don't want to be away from my girls right now.”
Sam went on to reveal that he has received “plenty of offers” for reality TV gigs over the years but he’s always declined for family reasons.
“Some of them it's like, ‘No I don't think that's for me'. Others it’s more because they’re filmed in Sydney and they're filmed for long periods of time and then there's Covid and all these other considerations,” he added.
“But I think the right opportunity at the right time, if it could be balanced with my work and my family life sensibly, I'd like to do it for sure. I love the business side of things like Celebrity Apprentice,” he continued, before joking that he’d be a “horrific dancer” if he ever appeared on Dancing With The Stars.
