Bachelor star and fitness mogul Sam Wood has revealed he has sold his popular diet and fitness program for a whopping $71 million.
The revelation comes as the reality TV star welcomes his third child, Harper Jones Wood, with wife Snezana.
The Australian Financial Review reports the 28 by Sam Wood founder is selling his company to Melbourne-founded genomics company myDNA Inc.
According to its website, myDNA is a company that focuses on offering customers personalised plans to improve their everyday health, from diet, to fitness and training styles.
It says it will help you understand your DNA so you can make better lifetime choices.
Currently, 28 by Sam Wood offers home workouts, 7-day meal plans and resources that help with meditation and mindfulness, with more than 500,000 people accessing the program.
Sam told the AFR he was proud of what he had achieved so far.
“I think that’s why we’ve had the success that we’ve had, and myDNA, what they have that we find really attractive is that extra level of personalisation through genomics,” he told the publication.
The AFR reports Sam will become an investor and hold a 5 per cent stake in myDNA.
Snezana 'really sick' after birth
The news comes after Sam revealed his wife fell ill after the birth of baby Harper.
Sharing a sweet snap of Snezana holding Harper on Sunday, also Mother's Day, Sam wrote, "30 minutes after this photo was taken. Snez became sick. Really sick and before we knew it Harper was off to the special care unit and Mum was into ICU."
The reality star continued, "Of course in true Snez Mum fashion her only thoughts were for her little baby and it was breaking her heart that she couldn’t hold her.
"After finding an infection that both Snez and Harper had picked up and some incredible care from the nurses and doctors they were reunited yesterday and both doing well."
The pair met on The Bachelor in 2015 and are one of the show's most successful couples.
