The Golden Globes fell hard for "Emilia Pérez." The thespians love her, too – and some musical witches.

A hit adaptation of the Broadway show, "Wicked' leads the movie field with five nominations at the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards, hosted by Kristen Bell and streaming live on Feb. 23 on Netflix (8 p.m. EST/5 PST).

"Wicked" and "Emilia," the acclaimed Spanish-language musical crime drama, are up for SAG's best ensemble award – the equivalent of the best picture Oscar – as are papal thriller "Conclave," Bob Dylan biopic "A Complete Unknown" and stripper dramedy "Anora."

Demi Moore, Cynthia Erivo make SAG best actress cut, Adrien Brody leads actor field

The horror movie "The Substance" didn't make the best ensemble cut but star Demi Moore, who won her first Globe on Sunday, scored her first SAG nomination in her long career. She's up for lead actress with fellow first-timers Mikey Madison ("Anora"), Karla Sofía Gascón ("Emilia Pérez") and Pamela Anderson ("The Last Showgirl"), with Cynthia Erivo ("Wicked") also getting in.

Another Globe winner, Adrien Brody ("The Brutalist"), was nominated for lead actor alongside Daniel Craig ("Queer"), Colman Domingo ("Sing Sing"), Timothée Chalamet ("A Complete Unknown") and Ralph Fiennes ("Conclave").

Golden Globe winners Kieran Culkin, Zoe Saldaña lead SAG supporting categories

Kieran Culkin ("A Real Pain") may be unstoppable in the supporting actor race this year, though he'll get SAG competition from Jonathan Bailey ("Wicked"), Yura Borisov ("Anora"), Jeremy Strong ("The Apprentice") and Edward Norton ("A Complete Unknown"). After winning the Globe for supporting actress, Zoe Saldaña ("Emilia Pérez") leads the field in the SAG category, where Monica Barbaro ("A Complete Unknown"), Ariana Grande ("Wicked"), Jamie Lee Curtis ("The Last Showgirl") and Danielle Deadwyler ("The Piano Lesson") also landed.

While post-World War II epic "The Brutalist" won the Globe for best drama, what's considered by many to be an Oscar front-runner was inauspiciously missing from the SAG best ensemble category and only scored one nomination, for Brody. "The Last Showgirl," which hasn't made much noise thus far this awards season, had an eye-opening turnout with its two nods for Anderson and Curtis, while Bailey is a surprise choice in the supporting actor field.

In the TV categories, FX epic "Shōgun" leads with five nominations and is in contention for best ensemble in a drama series with period piece "Bridgerton," spy thrillers "Slow Horses" and "The Day of the Jackal," and political soap "The Diplomat." "The Bear" scored four nods and is in the field for best comedy cast with "Abbott Elementary," "Hacks," "Only Murders in the Building" and "Shrinking."

The SAG Awards is an important bellwether for the upcoming Academy Awards on March 2, given that actors comprise the largest voting body in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. There's also usually a lot of carryover between acting categories: Last year, Oscars and SAG matched four out of five nominees in best actress, supporting actor and supporting actress, while the best actor contingent was the same.

The Screen Actors Guild originally planned to have Joey King and Cooper Koch announce the nominations Wednesday morning via a live YouTube event, which was canceled because of the Los Angeles wildfires.
