Rosie O’Donnell Says ‘F— You, Time Magazine’ for Naming Trump as ‘Man of the Year’: ‘Start Looking at Some of the Women, You Patriarchal F—s’

Rosie O’Donnell recently took to TikTok to rail against Time magazine for naming Donald Trump its man of the year for 2024 (via The Daily Beast). The publication made the announcement on Dec. 12, with magazine owner Marc Benioff adding on X that Trump’s upcoming presidency “marks a time of great promise for our nation.” O’Donnell said Time “normalized Trump” by giving him its 2024 man of the year honor.

“Man of the year, Donald Trump. Well, fuck you Time Magazine. Fuck you, seriously,” O’Donnell said. “How about most dangerous man of the year? How about most criminal man of the year? How about the worst president we’ve ever had… of the year.”

“Man of the year? Jesus, Mary and Joseph,” she continued. “There wasn’t one person you could think of that wasn’t that lying, criminal guy? Not one person of the year? Man of the year should be changed to human of the year. Start looking at the women, you patriarchal fucks. My god, it’s so frustrating.”

O’Donnell went on to say that there will be “no guardrails and a very corrupt Supreme Court” during Trump’s second term. He will be sworn into office on Jan. 20. In his Time magazine profile, Trump doubled down on pardoning some of the people who were convicted of crimes related to the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

‘We’re going to look at each individual case, and we’re going to do it very quickly, and it’s going to start in the first hour that I get into office,” Trump said. “And a vast majority of them should not be in jail. A vast majority should not be in jail, and they’ve suffered gravely. And I say, why is it that in Portland and in many other places, Minneapolis, why is it that nothing happened with them and they actually caused death and destruction at levels not seen before? So you know, if you take a look at what happened in Seattle, you had people die, you had a lot of death, and nothing happened, and these people have been treated really, really badly. Yeah, it’s an important issue for me.”
