Rob McElhenney left fans shocked after sharing an unrecognisable photo of himself after suffering what he claimed was an 'allergic reaction'.

The Always Sunny In Philadelphia star and co-owner of Wrexham AFC shared several photos from 2023, writing, "Aside from that slight allergic reaction to the nuts, 2023 was one of the best years of my life. Thank you to the people and places that made it possible.

"My life is full of love and joy because of you. So excited for 2024. I’ll stay away from the nuts."

Alongside the terrifying snap, Rob shared photos of himself and Wrexham AFC co-owner Ryan Reynolds, Prince Harry, King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as his Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-stars Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton and his wife Kaitlin Olson.

Mindy Kaling was quick to comment on the photos, writing, "Rob this made me almost drop my phone. My son screamed."

"I’m here for the gasps! Happy new year Mindy!" Rob jokingly responded.

"I, a grown a** man, also screamed," one user responded.
